Argus Donates Toys to Toys for Tots

Hamilton, Bermuda (November 26, 2015) – The Argus Group today announces that it will donate $1,000 worth of toys to Toys for Tots, a campaign that provides toys for the holidays to underprivileged children in Bermuda. The Toys for Tots campaign is organised by Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty, in collaboration with Coalition for the Protection of Children. Gifts are distributed to children at The Coalition for the Protection of Children annual Christmas party.

The Coalition for the Protection of Children is a charity that aims to provide a healthy and nurturing environment for the children of Bermuda and their families. It offers support to families in many ways, including a breakfast programme in schools to ensure children have a healthy breakfast, therapy and conflict resolution, professional development training and childrens’ rights advocacy work.

Sarah Faiella, Real Estate Sales Representative at Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty says: “Argus’ support and generosity to this cause is very much appreciated. On behalf of Toys for Tots, I thank Argus for their contribution in ensuring all children in Bermuda enjoy the holidays this year.”

John Doherty, Executive Vice President, Property and Casualty of the Argus Group, and member of the Argus Group’s charity committee, says: “While we support important causes and organisations throughout the year, donating to Toys for Tots is done in the spirit of the holidays. Unwrapping gifts is an age-old holiday tradition that bonds families together with memories that last a lifetime. We wanted to do our part in trying to make this holiday season a happy one for less fortunate children in Bermuda.”
