Argus Opens on Saturday to Assist with Claims Following Hurricane Nicole

(Hamilton, Bermuda, October 14, 2016) – Argus Insurance would like to advise its clients that the office will open tomorrow, Saturday, October 15, from 9am to 3pm. Alternatively, clients can call the Argus Claims Hurricane Hotline at 298-0888 or email insurance@argus.bm for queries or filing a report relating to any damage caused by the hurricane.

Following the filing of a damage report, either by telephone or in person, Argus will send adjustors to meet with clients, as needed. Argus recommends that clients take photos of damaged property to create an inventory for claims.

Alison Hill, CEO of the Argus Group, says: “We hope everyone is safe following the passage of Hurricane Nicole. We are opening on Saturday to assist our clients who experienced damage to their home or business from Hurricane Nicole and will continue to work diligently help them file and process their insurance claims.”

Argus reminds residents to obtain estimates for repair work and not to be rushed into signing a contract. Likewise, never pay for the entire repair upfront.
